Progoti Co-operative Landmortgage Bank Limited(Progoti Bank) is neither accidental nor supernatural but inevitable and normal that is the attempt to unite the cognitions attained by the particular banking sciences into a consistent system. There is no one to set beside it as a land mortgage bank. Md. Saiful Islam is an international personality but banker who is founder and chairman at Progoti Co-operative Landmortgage Bank Limited (Progoti Bank) which is the first specialized landmortgage bank in Bangladesh. Banker Md. Saiful Islam, his birth place is Baghua, a village in Ghagatia Union under kapasia Subdistrict of Gazipur District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. This bank is owned and controlled by it’s members who democratically elect the board of directors. Members usually have equal voting rights, according to the Co-operative principle of one person, one vote.
