Bank Asia provides higher studies scholarship

Bank Asia has provided higher studies scholarship to 11 meritorious students of Tongi Upazila of Gazipur district as a part of its corporate social responsibility, says a press release.

Aminul Islam, deputy managing director of the bank handed over the scholarship money to the students at a function held at a local community center of Tongi on Friday.

Chairman of Gazipur Sadar Pourosabha SM Shan Shah Alam,

word counselors of Tongi Upozila, Rakhi Sarkar and Nazrul Islam and FVP and head of Tongi Branch of the Bank Ibne Md. Shamsuzzaman, were present.

A large number of people including students, teachers, journalists, businessmen and local elite attended the function.
